About The Raleigh
The Raleigh Hotel in South Beach, Miami is a known art deco building and symbolic architecture brand. Hailed as a “Grand Dame” of South Beach Art Deco, this iconic, legendary, and glamorous hotel, with its unique pool and gardens, has a long and glorious heritage. In 2017, the hotel was closed for redevelopment and sold to a partnership of real estate developers which included Bilgili Holdings, Deutsche Finance America, and SHVO, with who we are proud to work. The redevelopment of the Raleigh Hotel presents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reintroduce to the world a property that is historically iconic, yet tastefully modernized.
Creating an outdoor museum experience
In 2019, in order to honor the hotel’s epic past as an icon of culture and style, the new owners decided to produce a colossal public art exhibition at The Raleigh Gardens, which was designed by architect and art collector Peter Marino and landscape architect Raymond Jungles, and unveiled a temporary unique art installation featuring the work of the late French artists Claude Lalanne and François-Xavier Lalanne, known collectively as “Les Lalanne.” The goal was to both celebrate the hotel’s legacy, and generate attention towards the future rebranding and redevelopment of this asset. We were honored to contribute and take part in this initiative and meet the challenge of supportive digital creative assets.
Bringing the museum experience to life
Our team produced unique digital assets, including a dedicated website for this project. With our work, we were devoted and committed to honoring both the hotel’s legacy and iconic brand, the art exhibition which was presented at The Raleigh Gardens, and our partner SHVO as the new owners of the property. We worked to unify all of them under one focused creative direction, as well as provide a clean and elegant digital user experience that will provide the spirit, look and feel, vision, and story of this campaign.
