About The Project
Prepare to be delighted with Galbani®. From traditional Italian dishes to today's favorite quick meals. A global leader of Italian Type Cheeses and biggest cheese brand of Lactalis.
The objective of the project is the development of a new Galbani visual identity.
The visual identity has to be based on the new positioning that could be perceived by consumers as:
- More Italian
- More modern
- Less industrial, more authentic
- More inviting (appetite appeal)
Points of attention:
- White ribbon
- Blue color (associated to fresh cheese category)
- N° 1 in Italia badge
We designed 2 visual concepts for the new Galbani packaging renovation.
The 1st concept revolves around the new Dolce Vita positioning, and the joy of being together than become the starting point for this proposal that aims to bring to the table that bite of Dolce Vita only a true, Italian category leader like Galbani can add.
In 2nd concept we pushed Galbani towards new boundaries, without compromising the integrity of the brand.
The renovation proposal starts from the new Dolce Vita positioning, and a famous Italian saying:
The fondest memories are made
gathered around the table.
Our team noticed that this pleasure and conviviality expressed in the communication is not yet aligned on the actual packaging. Italianness and the joy of being together then become the starting points for this proposal that aims to bring to the table that bite of Dolce Vita only a true, Italian category leader like Galbani can add.
For this second renovation proposal we started from the insight which was provided to us:
Who better than a local Italian can let us discover the timeless pleasure of Italian way of living?
And who's the best example of this ambassadorship? We want to use our recognition of a 140-year-old brand, and the «blessing» of Egidio Galbani, in ordet to serve and promote the Italian Dolce Vita, and solutions for conviviality, to everyone.
