The Challenge
Galbani sought to refresh its visual identity to reflect its evolving positioning and strengthen its global connection with consumers. The brand needed to express its authentic Italian heritage in a modern, approachable way, shifting from a more industrial perception to a contemporary, inviting, and premium visual language. The new identity had to enhance appetite appeal, evoke warmth, and inspire enjoyable Italian culinary moments, while maintaining iconic brand elements such as the white ribbon, the blue color associated with fresh cheeses, the landscape imagery, and the “N° 1 in Italia” badge.

Dolce Vita Positioning
This route emphasized the joy of togetherness, with packaging that captures a “bite of the Dolce Vita” while making the brand feel more Italian, inviting, and modern—without losing its heritage.
Expanding Boundaries
This route pushed the brand into new creative territory, leveraging Galbani’s 140-year legacy and the spirit of Egidio Galbani to highlight authenticity, conviviality, and the timeless pleasures of Italian living, inspiring consumers worldwide to enjoy the Dolce Vita in everyday meals.
Across both concepts, Plus972 refined the color palette, typography, and key visual assets to feel contemporary while staying true to Galbani’s roots. Iconic cues such as the white ribbon, blue hue, Italian landscapes, and the N° 1 badge were seamlessly integrated, resulting in scalable, globally adaptable packaging solutions.
